The purpose of cooperation

The aim of the cooperation was to promote public transport – Nextbike city bikes in Wrocław and Veturilo in Warsaw, to draw the attention of the city authorities to the fact that there is no access to city bikes in Poznań. To increase the awareness of participants about the availability of bikes in the city, to promote riding them among individual participants. And also, among companies, to increase the awareness of the possibilities of an interesting form of mobile advertising in a large city, advertising at stations and on Nextbike bikes.

Purpose realization and strategy

We took promotional actions primarily before the event because during the race Nextbike bikes are an advertisement in themselves. In order to correctly predict the demand, we conducted advance registrations, which allowed for the delivery of the appropriate number of bikes – including transport of bikes from Warsaw to Poznań.

Challenges during implementation

The challenge of this edition of FRRuuu was the high demand for bikes in Poznań, where there are currently no permanent Nextbike stations. The company decided to deliver 50 bikes from Warsaw to Poznań to ride in the FRRuuu, and then return to the capital after the event.

Effects of cooperation

The expected and most important effect of the cooperation was to equalize the chances of taking part in FRRuuu. Thanks to the cooperation with Nextbike, everyone could take part in the rally – including people who do not have their own bike.
